In 1807, eleven year-old Miriam must face her greatest fears. She and her twin brother Moses, take a surprise trip up the Columbia River with family and friends. What is supposed to be a peaceful time of trading turns into a series of heart-thumping danger. Miriam must rescue a new friend from kidnappers.
